It is recommended that you take a few minutes to read these terms and conditions prior to placing an order on this website. These terms and conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of any goods from it. If you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions please use the contact us page.
1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This website is owned and operated by Catalan Pty Ltd (ABN 94 008 655 016) Trading as Letters and Numbers. By accessing, browsing, downloading or using this website you agree to these terms, conditions and disclaimers which are amended from time to time ("Terms and Conditions"). You further acknowlege that you have read and understood these terms and conditions. Also by registering to become a user and purchasing items from this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Letters and Numbers reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any such amendments become effective immediately they are published. Your continued use of this website after such an amendment constitutes an agreement by you to be bound by the amended terms and conditions.
2. USER INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION
When you register on this website you submit information to us which is referred to as "User Information" in our Terms and Conditions. By providing this User information you are warranting that all the information submitted by you is true and correct. You further warrant that if any of this information is incorrect, you indemnify Letters and Numbers from any loss, damage or expenses that we may suffer as a consequence of this incorrect information. If any of the information you submit is incorrect, we reserve the right to teminate your account and refuse to accept and deliver any goods and or services offered on this website. When you register to purchase from this website you are issued with a unique user name and password. It is recommended that you keep your user name and password safe as we indemnify ourselves from any loss or damage caused by any unauthorised use of your username and password. Please note we will never send you an email requesting that you log in to your account and provide your username and password or change your password. It is strongly recommended that you type https://www.lettersandnumbers.com.au in your internet browser and then log onto your account using our login form displayed on our home page
3. WHO CAN ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE
You can only order from this website if you can enter a legally binding contract. You are unable to order from this website if you cannot enter into a legally binding contract or you are under the age of 18 years at the time you place your order. Letters and Numbers acknowledges that it may not notice an illegal order placed on this website, but we will use our best endeavours to ensure that each order is a bonafide order submitted with your user details. You must become a registered user to order. If you are uncomfortable about registering to use this website you can ring through your order to 02 6241 6059. Although we may take your phone order, we may request you to either text or email the order.
4. ORDERING GOODS AND NOTIFICATION OF ORDER
When you submit an order on the Letters and Numbers website, you accept the prices displayed on the website, together with any additional postage and insurance charges specified. (These delivery charges also called postage or shipping charges are displayed in the shopping cart and they are made visible prior to you confirming your order). Once you are happy with the shopping cart contents and submit your order to Letters and Numbers , you will receive notification (via email) that we have received your order. Once your order is received we will check the contents of the order, confirm that the information provided in your user details appears to be correct and advise you (via email) when we can supply and deliver your order. At this stage you will be given an estimated delivery time. Your contract with Letters and Numbers will come into existence once you receive this email and we have confirmed receipt of full payment for your order. Once your order has been confirmed and full payment received you acknowledge that you cannot alter or rescind your order. Please note if you do not receive an email notification sent to your user registered email address, your order is incomplete and it means we have not received your order.
5. DELIVERY OF GOODS
Letters and Numbers will use it best endeavours to deliver your goods in a timely manner. However we accept no liability for goods that are not delivered by our estimated delivery dates. Our estimated delivery times are indicative only. Please note our estimated delivery times only commence upon receipt of full payment. For urgent orders please specify this in the additional memo instructions when placing your order and we will endeavour to supply such orders more promptly.
All our orders are sent with Australia Post. Please be aware that we can use a B4 sized envelope which has the dimensions 250 x 353 mm or small boxes. so if this will not fit into your mailbox and you are not home the postal service may place a card in your mail box and you will need to collect from your designated local post office.
Australia Post (who we use to deliver our products) may leave your order in a "Safe Place" this is out of our control. We are also not responsible for missing or stolen postal items. We will send proof via a tracking number to show we have sent your order.
By Ordering from us you acknowledge and accept that Australia Post (at its discretion) may leave your order in a "safe place" even if someone is home. You consent to allowing this to happen when placing an order on our website.
6. PRICING
All items offered for sale on this website are displayed in Australian Dollars ($AUD). For Australian residents or for any order delivered within Australia the prices displayed are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). All orders will be issued with an official Tax Invoice and will record our Australian Business Number (ABN). For overseas orders you indemnify Letters and Numbers from any duty, customs, levies or other statutory charge which may be levied on any goods imported into ;the country you reside in. We reserve the right to amend prices on this website without notice. These amendments become effective immediately they are published.
7. TITLE AND RISK
Letters and Numbers will retain title to any goods until payment has been received in full. All risk in the goods will pass to you upon despatch from Unit 4/67-71 Vicars St Mitchell ACT 2911 Australia.
8. INSURANCE
Please note that in the unlikely event of a failed delivery of your order or damage to your parcel in the course of delivery we have fully insured all items until they are delivered to the address nominated in your delivery/shipping address on your order. Please note that insurance does not cover the cost of postage/shipping and or packaging charges. You may also be required to fill out any necessary forms in the event of a claim for missing and/or damaged items. For some fragile items insurance may not be attainable. This will be noted in the detailed product description of any product this applies to. Alternatively we can deliver items (at your expense) with your nominated carrier.
9. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES AND ADVERTISING
This Website containd links to other third party websites and or includes some paid advertising links. Letters and Numbers is not under control of these websites (unless specified) and takes no responsibility for any information contained in these links. The links are provided to you in good faith, but you use any of these links entirely at your own risk. You hereby indemnify Letters and Numbers from any loss or damage caused by using these website links
10. RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
We offer a full refund if the item/s we deliver to you do not match the items described in your order and do not match those displayed and described on this website. Please note that colour variation will exist between the displayed image/s seen on your monitor and the item/s you receive. This is unavoidable and not a reason we will refund or exchange. Letters and Numbers will also offer either a full refund or exchange for item/s which is/are faulty. Some items will be covered by Manufacturer's warranties so it is recommended that you keep all receipts in the event of a warranty claim. For items which are not as described and/or faulty they must be returned to Letters and Numbers within 7 days from the receipt of your goods. Postage/shipping costs will be reimbursed to you once we receive the returned item/s. No item will be accepted for return without the original packaging and proof of purchase. Please note we do not generally exchange goods if you change your mind. We may entertain an exchange if you change our mind, but this is entirely at our discretion and on a case by case basis.
11. PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Letters and Numbers takes the privacy of its customers very seriously. The information we collect when you register to become a user is kept secure and will not be divulged to any third party whatsover. We may (with your consent) offer you "specials" from time to time via your registered email address. You can amend your user information at any time by logging into the user form. If your would like to have your user name and all associated information deleted from our records please contact us and we will delete your information and confirm this via return email. This will take approximately 48 hours. All your user information and ordering is submitted to our secure server. You will note a secure padlock in the bottom right hand side of your internet browser to indicate you have entered a secure website
12. ORDERING MISTAKES
Letters and Numbers do NOT stock the numbers and names or the clothing we sell through the website . We have rolls of iron on film which we use to "cut out" your specific order. Please order CAREFULLY as we do not accept items back which have been incorrectly ordered. Please check with your organisation what are the correct size of numbers/names that you can use. We will not accept orders back if you select the incorrect size or colour.
13. LOWERCASE NAMES
We provide team and individual names in All Capitals, Upper and Lower Case and even all lower case. When you order in Upper and lower case. For example 30mm height. The upper case letter will be 30mm high and the lowercase letters will be proportionately smaller. Please keep this in mind when ordering. If ordering all lower case letters words with letters such as j, y and so on even though the other letters in the name will be 30mm these type of letters will be taller (could be 40 to 45mm). Once again please keep this in mind.
14. FABRIC SUITABILITY
Iron on products purchased from Letters and Numbers are suitable for the following fabrics
- 100% Cotton
- 100% Polyester
- Polyester/Cotton blends.
They are not suitable for products with coatings such as sprayjackets or hi vis shirts and other garments which may have a coating over them. Our Iron on products are not recommended for sublimated tops (normally a sublimated top has a white undercoat with ink printed on top of the fabric). You can experience dye migration where our product takes up the dye from the garment.
Please test (with the spare) numbers/names we provide to ensure they are suitable for your chosen fabric before applying onto your items.
